Our round swing is made from Accoya and is hand crafted on the lathe. This type of swing is great fun for children and the ‘young at heart’ – a great addition to any garden with its simple, natural design.
Accoya® is wood, but not as you know it. It is modified timber in which a process called acetylation, a cutting-edge patented technology, enables it to resist rot, defy the elements and stay strong for decades. Guaranteed for 50 years above ground and 25 years in ground or freshwater, its performance and properties are remarkable. From joinery for the home to bridges submerged in water.
 
The swing comes with 3.5 metres (11.5ft) of 18 mm Poly Hemp Rope. Poly Hemp Rope is ultra strong and soft making it easy to grip. It is weatherproof, UV resistant and will not change size when wet. Because of this it has an incredible long life span.
 
Button swing is 30cm (12 inches) in diameter and 4.5cm (1.75 inches) thick

The swing comes with a  solid oak adjusting block so that you can easily adjust the rope to your desired height from the ground. They also make it very easy to take the swing down if needed. A leaflet will be provided with your order clearly showing you how to hang your swing, explaining the common ways to fix your swing to a branch. It also includes some important safety information.
